Most of the horses are back in training now, just three to come back from owners and then hopefully we will be buying a few too. We also have two lease fillies coming over from Ireland. So it is a very exciting time of the year, especially this year when we are all yearning for normality to resume and everybody to feel safe again. It is going to be a tough year for everybody, which inevitably will mean lots of change and uncertainty. The most important thing is to remain positive and listen to people, offer support where it is needed and to think forwards.
We are very much looking forward to seeing our owners again and for them to be able to have an owners morning. However just one step at a time and we will follow the guidelines issued. The last thing we want is a second spike and lockdown. The horses are all well and fresh and its great to have the staff back from their holidays and furlough. Fingers crossed for a successful season ahead. We are hoping also for the building work to start on our two self catering bed and breakfast cottages very soon so hopefully we will have that to offer towards Christmas fingers crossed.
