27th March- Stable News

Today we head off to our local track @Fontwell park with three runners. Its a bit grey here in Sussex and there is a chill in the air .

Our first runner is "Willshebecourt" for The Nick Gifford Racing Club, running in the 2:30 Fontwell 27 MAR 2026 SKY 2m5½f (2m5f164y) Bet 30 Get 5 Weekly betstgeorge.com Novices' Hurdle (GBB Race) (Class 4) (4yo+). Only three runners go to post and James Davies takes the ride. Dan Skeltons horse should win half the track, for us we need to try Willow on this better and hopefully see an improvement on her previous perfomances. She is a well bred filly but up to now has been very dissapointing. We will review and make a decision after the race as to her future in racing. Good luck , lets hope she has a good clear round of jumping and gallops all the way to the line .

Second we have Graeme the Grey running in the 4:00 Fontwell 27 MAR 2026 SKY

2m1½f (2m1f162y) England To Win Tonight 20/1 betstgeorge.com Maiden Hurdle (Novices' Champ Hurdle Qualifier) (GBB) (Class 4) (4yo+). Tabitha Worsley takes the ride and Graeme will be led up by Lizzy Skidmore who also looks after him at home too. Graeme the Grey is owned by the Double Scorpios. Graeme started off well in his bumper runs but has taken a lot longer to get to grips with his jumping, trying to do everything to fast . So he has done lots of extra schooling, loose schooling with eventers and Tabitha has come in and done a lot of extra schooling with him here at home. So today is all about a clear round of jumpin and something to build on. We will learn alot more about him today.

Last but not least we have Koenigsstern running in the 4:30 Fontwell 27 MAR 2026 SKY

2m3½f (2m3f104y) betstgeorge.com With Daily St George Specials Chase Series Final (A Handicap Chase) (GBB Race) (Class 2) (5yo+). 8 runners go to post and he will be ridden by James Davies. He is a very honest staying chaser, and always puts in a genuine performance, he is on good form and would be lovely to see him in the placings again. Head Girl Kirsty Huff will be leading him up and rides him everyday at home.
