So today we are on our way to Exeter with two runners . The Mighty Don runs in the 4.10 “ Best Mate Beginners Chase” over 2miles 1.5 furlongs . The Mighty Don is owned by The Golden Rose partnership. Today is all about a clear round of jumping , he has done plenty of schooling at home . He had one go at Chasing last year last October and unseated Leighton at Fontwell . So we went back to hurdles and then shelved the chasing plans with him after winning the pertemps qualifier at Cheltenham. He had a great season hurdling . Now we are going to have a proper go at it this season . It’s a lovely track to start him off at , the trip might be slightly on the sharp side for him . Fingers crossed for a clear round of jumping and a positive run .
Our second runner is Brown Bear for the “ Bear Necessities partnership in the 4.40 Exeter Handicap Chase . Leighton Aspell takes the ride . We have brought him to Exeter for the better ground . Fingers crossed he will run well .
