Back to wet and warmer weather !! Yesterday we had one runner at Wincanton a stunning bay gelding , just 4 years old called "Aworkinprogress" and as his name suggests he is a big future chaser. We were very pleased with his run , he jumped well, he is a stayer and just got done for tow, but alot to look forward to in the future. I think we will see the best of him when he has filled out and matured further. He has a great attitude and jumps very well.
Today we have two runners at Exeter. Rum Cove a future staying chaser having his debut over hurdles for the "Hope Springs Too" partenership and then "Drumheller" runs in the bumper. Two young inexperienced horses, both bought as future staying chasers. We will learn more about them today. It will be interesting to see if they cope with the ground and if it is indeed soft.
Good Luck to connections and Team Gifford!
