Wow what stunning weather for Royal Ascot week, just perfect.
The majority of our horses are still on their holidays along with our staff. We just have the four youngsters in being broken in and 3 horses that will run over the summer. These are Zuba who is cantering after a few quieter weeks, Didtheyleaveuoutto and an Unnamed ( very very soon to be named) 4 year old filly by "Califet" out of a winning filly we used to train for The Nick Gifford Racing Club called "Cove". She will run in a mares bumper ground dependant possibly at Worcester shortly. Didtheyleaveuoutto is going to have a spin around Pontefract on the flat, in preparation for a Chepstow race that he ran in last year later on in the season.
We have one share available in "Zuba" for £1100 plus VAT if anyone would like to join in the fun. He is a great dual purpose horse who won a hurdle at Plumpton last year and has been 2nd twice at Goodwood and placed at some great tracks. He is a 6 year old by Dubarwi and we will have a lot more fun with him. Get in touch if you would like more information. On Monday we are bringing five horses in that prefer good ground. The rest will come in at the beginning of July. We are bringing in Cobbs Corner, Pip Away, Missfit , Northern Poet and Nelly a 4 year old filly ( unnamed by the sire Procunsul out of 8 times winning mare "Fairyinthewind). Nelly is a lease filly and we have shares available for £200 per month all inclusive training fees and a £250 joining fee.
The NEW 3 year olds are coming along nicely and Grand Sabre had his first rider on walking around the yard today. They will be ridden away in the next few weeks.
