Today we head off to Kempton with two runners, its lovely to see a bit of sunshine although fear it may not last too long.

Our first runner is "Pip Away" who belongs to the Lavender Chickens. A lovely filly by Getaway who has has had a few little niggles and it will be nice to see her back on the track today, this is her third run which after she will get a handicap mark. We will see the best of her when she gets in handicap company and in time will need further too. So today fingers crossed for a positive run and hopefully the ground will not be too soft for her. Pip Away runs in the 3:20Kempton16 MAR 2024 RTV2m (Winter) Unibet 3 Uniboosts A Day Mares' Novices' Hurdle (Herring Queen Series Qualifier) (GBB Race) . 13 horses go to post and James Davies takes the ride. Best of luck to all connections. Pip Away will be led up by Ella Garland today who has done a lot of work with Pip since her arrival.

3m Watch Unibet Racing 'Postcast' Each Thursday Handicap Chase (Challenger Staying Chase Series Qual') (Class 3) (5yo+ 0-130). This is the last qualifier in the series and the ground will not be ideal for Northern Poet as he likes good ground ( which is as scarce as Rocking Horse Poo at the moment), you only need to finish in the first 8 to qualify for the final and there are eight runners. So to be totally honest we are just hoping he copes with the ground and finishes his race to qualify and anything above that will be a bonus. Northern Poet is owned by the "Hope Springs Partnership"
