Pleased with both runners from yesterday, Pip was very keen early on and jumped a bit big early on but she finished her race well , she will want a lot further in time . She will now get her mark and we can run her in a handicap. She has trotted up sound and we will look for a race in a few weeks time.
Northern Poet ran a cracker to finish 5th in the 3mile mile handicap chase (Challenger Staying Chase Series Qualifier) His jumping got better the further he went and was really staying on at the finish . Really his first run of the season ! He will come on for that ! The final is at Warwick Racecourse in a few weeks , but we will look at other options too ! As crying out for further still !
