Yesterday we had two runners at two meetings , both having their debut in bumpers . Kadiyama went to Warwick for the 3.50pm , 3 year old mares junior bumper . The day was all about experience , she will definitely improve for the run and occasion. She works well at home , still a little green but is fit and has a lovely attitude. As a yard it was our first runner in a junior bumper so we will also learnt a lot from today . James Davies took the ride, and was not hard on her. She ran a little green and in snatches and will appreciate better ground with her flat pedigree. There had been a lot more rain then we hoped for and the ground was hard work, but she ran on and finished mid division. . Kadiyama belongs to the “ Lavender Chickens “ partnership.
Simply Supreme went to Ffos Las to run in the 4pm mares bumper . Simply Supreme is owned by The Ledwardian Legacy partnership. It was a conditional race and Niall Houlihan took the ride ( claiming 7) . Simply Supreme AKA Dreams has had two runs in points finishing 2nd in Ireland last time . So she has some race experience. She is a big chaser type , so you will see the best of her when she starts jumping . Having said that she ran an absolute cracker to finish second, she is such a genuine filly and really gave her all . We trained her mother "Old Dreams" who was very similar in temperament, just smaller.
