19th October - Stable News

So.a busy week, on Sunday Fairway Freddy ran at Kempton and finished a credible 3rd place in the 2mile 2 chase with Tabitha Worsley on board. . He is quite high up in the handicap now but he ran really well and Tabitha gave him a lovely ride.

We had a great day at The Bob Champion Cancer Trust Charity day yesterday raising money for a great cause . It was great to have 4 tables of owners there supporting the day. It felt great to be back racing again as normal. As always the day was hugely popular and we were also very pleased with both our runners . Cobbs Corner finished 3rd in his hurdle up against two fit flat horses and Jungle Prose ran a cracker to finish 2nd in The Josh Gifford Memorial Race carrying a lot of weight for The Nick Gifford Racing Club . Lots to look forward to with these two . Both were ridden by Tabitha Worsley and Izzy Mills Led them up .

Today we were at Exeter with Rose of Aghaboe in the 3 mile chase. Rosie started off brilliantly then unfortunately slipped coming in to the back three fences which knocked her confidence jumping out of the slippy ground. Tabs focussed on getting her jumping and she just got tired in the closing stages. The ground was not quite what we had hoped for and it was thick fog, so very difficult to see any racing. We will see how she is tomorrow and then look for a mares race for her next. She will be back winning again soon for sure for The Rose Tinted Partnership.

A couple of quieter days now and hopefully we might be at Cheltenham on Saturday with Belargus, ground/weather dependant.
