Finally the rain is starting to come and it feels like the National Hunt Season will begin ! We started off on Monda with one of our favourite days of the year ! The Bob Champion Charity Raceday Raceday @ Plumpton Races. The day started early with a Champagne reception and the fabulous Shetland Pony Race, followed by a great afternoon of racing and terrific food and company. We had a great time catching up with our owners and friends.
We had one runner "Eliza Dolittle" who ran in the 5:17
Plumpton 20 OCT 2025 SKY 3m1f (3m217y) Back British Farming Mares' Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) (4yo+ 0-100). Tabitha Worsley took the reins , unfortunately she just got tired over 3 miles on the soft ground, the rain had really got in by the last race. She jumped and travelled really well. We would run her in that ground again but over a shorter trip. I think if the rain hadn't arrived she would have been a lot closer. She is such a genuine filly Ollie Goldstein rides Eliza Dolittle everyday at home and led her up with Head Girl Kirsty Huff assisting .
Lots of money was

raised for this fabulous charity. Thank you to my lovely owners and friends for donating the amazing Silent Auction Prizes !
