Grace will be ridden by Liam Treadwell, this is her third run over hurdles. Grace is only four and still quite green, learning the game. She ran well in her bumpers overall finishing 2nd in two and then when looking like king a winning run in one decide to dive left towards the stables and through the rails. So we are looking for a good round of jumping and her to finish her race. After today she will get a handicap mark and run in handicap company. Fingers crossed for a promising run.
Today is a very special day when racing , friends and family remember "Liam Treadwell". the Grand National Winning jockey who we sadly lost a year ago . Worcester are putting on a special day to remember Liam. It was such a shock to hear we had lost Liam and we will always remember him. He was above everything a very special, kind , person and we must learn from the loss. He had some serious head injuries along the way and this took a huge toll on his mental health. Its very hard to know what is going on behind the scenes in peoples lives. Racing is a tough game and we must all look out for each other. Liam rode for us early on in his career and gave me my first Cheltenham winner riding "Dee E Williams" . He was also was placed many times on Tullamore Dew at Cheltenham and won a chase on him
at Fontwell. He also rode my point to pointers when he was very young. We are lucky to have photos and memories of Liam , and often talk about him. We will be thinking of all his friends and family today.
