A very wet and windy day and our jockey James Davies has come in before heading off to Fontwell to sit on a few on the gallops. With all the rain and being on chalk our ground is still good !

We have two runners today at Fontwell. Grand Sabre for the Nick Gifford Racing club runs in the 4:15 Fontwell 23 OCT 2025 SKY3m2f (3m1f210y) BetGoodwin Steamer Of The Day Handicap Chase (Class 5) (4yo+ 0-100) with James Davie son board, he is on great form but it may be a bit soft for him today . He won on good ground, but we will learn more about him.

Then we have Drumheller for Vivid Racing running in the 4:50Fontwell

23 OCT 2025 SKY2m5½f (2m5f164y) Lightning Payments At BetGoodwin Novices' Limited Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) (4yo+ 0-95) also with James davies on board, it will be a good run to blow the cobwebs away and see where we are with him going forward.
