23rd October - Stable News

So yesterday we were at Lingfield with two runners "Castledhem" and Mystic Dreamer.

A pleasing 3rd place for Castledhem in his first run this season . He ran a strong race and it was a close finish ! @Lingfield a neck and a nose ! A Lovely horse with an exciting future . Castledhem was led up by Andrew Veale our traveling Head Lad and belongs to The Bowtells . Castledhem was ridden by James Davies .

Tina Nicks sister rode him at the beginning of the season to strengthen him up doing lots of hill work . Gerry Enright has also been riding him at home a bit and Kirsty Huff. We will probably look to go hurdling with him soon .

Mystic Dreamer finished 8th in the 4.45 mares hurdle at Lingfield for The Nick Gifford Racing Club . She jumped and travelled well , just got a bit tired in the closing stages in ground that is a bit soft for her liking . It was good to get the first run out if the way , she will improve for the run and we will look for better ground for her next run . It’s just a shame that we had the rain yesterday. James Davies took the ride and Chloe Whitelam led her up and rides her at home .

Castledhem in the middle in the middle.
