25th February - Stable news

At last we have some sunshine and it really does feel like Spring is on its way, the mornings are getting lighter ! All the horses are well and on great form and enjoying the change in weather as are Team Gifford !!

Today we head to Wincanton with one runner. Hello Fortune AKA "Bill" runs in the 3:20Wincanton25 FEB 2026 RTV2m4f (2m3f179y) Albert Bartlett Triple Crown Series Handicap Hurdle (Qualifier) (Class 4) (4yo+ 0-115). Fifteen runners go to post in what looks like a very competitive race. We are still very much learning about Hello Fortune and we step up a bit in trip today as we think he will want further in time. He also is a future chaser, he's a lovely big stamp of a horse by "Soldier of fortune" and is owned by Ham Manor Farms.

Lizzie Skidmore rides him and looks after him everyday at home. Our Head Girl Kirsty Huff leads him up today and James Davies will be on board. Good Luck to Connections and Team Gifford !!

Everyone at home is getting ready for our first owners morning of 2026 on Saturday !! Looks like we are going to be very lucky with the weather !!
