Today we had Itsnotwhatyouthink having his debut in the 2.33pm novices hurdle at Lingfield park. Boris as we call him at home is on great form and has been schooling well, he really is a natural jumper . He is only 5 and still learning his trade but has a bright future ahead of him . Andrew Veale led him up .
We are all very chuffed with Boris's first attempt over hurdles.
A very respectable 3rd place In horrible ground . A lovely young horse , with a great attitude. We will look to run him on soft ground next time ( not heavy) , the experience will have done him a world of good and he is a natural jumper . Congratulations to The Bowtell’s and Cotty’s lots to look forward to and great Work Team Gifford .
