Northern Poet ridden by James Davies in the 12:55 Huntingdon 27 JAN 2023 2m½f (2m104y) Pertemps Network Chris Ascroft Memorial Novices' Handicap Chase (GBB Race) (Class 4) (5yo+ 0-120). Eight runners go to post and this is Toms first time over fences. So primarily as always we are looking for a clear round. Tom would prefer good ground and it could be a bit tacky following the weather and the defrost, but with all the racing that has been abandoned and the heavy going before that we need to get the run in to him. Missy is a stunning filly by Getaway and this is her second run. We are looking for a positive run. Good Luck to her owner Suzannah and Team Gifford.
