A stunning day in West Sussex and indeed throughout most of the UK it would seem. It really feels like Spring is on its way ! The daffodils and Snow Drops are out and the sun is shining!! It starts of crisp and cold then really warms up in the sunshine. Everyone is happier when the sun shines like today.
We started the day heading off in different directions with Northern Poet heading up to Doncaster with Nick and Harry Parks leaving at 6am this morning and My Bad Lucy and Vova heading to Huntingdon leaving at 8am this morning. Both had great journeys up and arrived at the races in good time.

Tabitha Worsley gave "Tom" ( stable name) an amzing ride, he did not make it easy for her and was really making her work for the first circuit. Huge Congratulations to Hope Springs and connections and of course Team Gifford. Harry Parks led Northern Poet up today and rides him a lot at home. Northern Poet is not a straight forward horse and likes to have things a certain way, today he certainly loved the better Spring ground and the track and sunshine on his back.

2m7½f (2m7f129y) Champers Handicap Chase (Class 5) (5yo+ 0-100)at Huntingdon. James Davies was on board, it looked like he just wasnt enjoying it and James has reported he does not feel right in his back and did the right thing pulling him up, we will see how he comes out of the race and get him checked out by our vet and physio.
