30th March Stable News and we head to Ascot with two runners .

Beautiful Spring Day ! Happy Mother’s Day to all the Mothers of humans and pets!

Flimsy Nosebag ran a cracker to finish 3rd in the 2.10pm 2mile 3 maiden hurdle . A great run , he is a future chaser , but thrilled with what he showed today . He obviously enjoyed the track and the ground given a great ride by James Davies. Congratulations to Noel & Pat Grant ! Great run

He should have won best turned out looking fantastic in the paddock and the only one that had been plaited up !

Flimsy was led up by Harry Parks who also rides him quite a lot at home .

Later on we have Northern Poet running in the 3 mile 2 handicap chase . He is on great form , will love the ground , the only thing is it is a big step up in class , so that will be the acid test . He is running against horses much higher in the handicap . Fingers crossed he enjoys himself and has a good solid round !
