A beautiful Autumnal day here in Sussex. Today we have one runner at Chepstow. "FlyNumberone" runs in the 3:00 Chepstow 3 NOV 2021 SKY 2m3½f (2m3f100y) Holt JCB Maiden Hurdle (GBB Race) (Class 4) (4yo+) with Tabitha Worsley on board.
He is a big strapping chaser type who has been off the track since November 2019 due to a niggle. He won his bumper at Sandown in very soft ground. Today he will no doubt improve for the run having had so long off ( and my horses are all just needeing that first run). So today its all about him having a good positive jumping experience that we can build on. Good Luck to his owners "The Brookes and Kyle families" and Team Gifford. Vova will be leading him up today.
Then tomorrow we have "Didtheyleaveuoutto" for JP McManus at Newbury. "JP" as we call him on the yard runs in the 2:30 Newbury 4 NOV 2021 RTV 3m (3m52y) Pertemps Network Handicap Hurdle (Pertemps Hurdle Series Qualifier) (GBB Race) (Class 2) (4yo+ 0-145) with Niall Houlihan on board. He is on great form and fingers crossed for a positive run.
Sunday is possibly Sandown for "The Nick Gifford Racing club" with "Kilfords Queen" making her debut in the bumper and also possibly Glen Rocco having his first run after a long lay off. Ground and weather dependant.
