8th February -Stable News

Well it has been absolutely freezing in Findon today -2 with a bitter wind that makes it feel about -5. Unfortunately Plumpton was abandoned ( no surprise really ). So we are very pleased we have three entries for Kempton tomorrow in the all weather bumper.

There is an 8am inspection but fingers crossed it will be on. Firtsly we have "My Bad Lucy" who runs in the 12:45 Kempton POLYTRACK 9 FEB 2021RTV

2m Standard Open National Hunt Flat Race (GBB Race) (Div I) (AW) (Class 5) (4-6yo). He is a lovely big future chaser type so tomorrow we will learn more about him. we bought him at the Goffs Yorton sale for Mr Michael O' Shea ( he won a P2P in Ireland) and the long term plan will be chasing. With all meetings being abandoned it will just be nice to get him out and see how he does in this sort of race. He is a very nice horse but it is not all about tomorrow for sure. My Bad Lucy will be ridden by James Davies. Andrew Veale and Geena Gover will be leading up. Gerry Enright mostly rides My Bad Lucy at home.

Our second runner is "Rose of Aghaboe" she runs in the 2:50 Kempton POLYTRACK 9 FEB 2021RTV

2m2f Best Odds Guaranteed At VBet 'Jumpers' Bumper' National Hunt Flat Race (AW) (Class 5) (4yo+). All Rosie does is gallop and stay, she is as honest as the day is long. So we are hopeful of a good run tomorrow. She won a jumpers bumper at Lingfield over a shorter trip last month. Rose of Aghaboe belongs to "The Rose Tinted Partenrship" and will be ridden by Tabitha Worsley. Rose of Aghaboe is ridden by Chloe and a few of the team and is looked after by Dan Hutchinson.

Last but not least we have "Didtheyleaveuoutto" for JP , who runs in the 4:20 Kempton POLYTRACK 9 FEB 2021RTV 2m Join VBet 'Jumpers' Bumper' National Hunt Flat Race (AW) (Class 4) (4yo+). Aiden Coleman takes the ride, we know "Didtheyleaveuoutto" has the ability" but he has a had a few setbacks. So fingers crossed tomorrow he will be on top form and back to his best. We will see. Kirsty Huff who rides and looks after him at home will lead him up.

Kempton on Friday has already been abandoned and they have added another jumpers bumper fixture on Thursday, so hopefully we will have a few more runners there too. These fixtures certainly serve a purpose at this time of year.
