Good morning on a very wet and cold day is Sussex. Yesterday James Davies and Niall Houlihan came in to school the horses and they all jumped very well. Today is work morning and the fillies have all just worked very well this morning.
We have one runner today at Sandown. Paddy Poem runs in the 1:50 Sandown 8 JAN 2022 1m7½f (1m7f119y) Unibet Horserace Betting Operator Of The Year Handicap Chase (GBB Race) (Class 2) (5yo+ 0-145) with James Davies on board. Vova who looks after him at home is taking him to the races. He is a stunning homebred owned by Mrs T. Brown. Seven runners go to post and he is on great form at home. Hopefully he wont mind the ground. Good Luck to connections and Team Gifford.
I also wanted to mention how PROUD we are that TWO of our stable staff are in the final three of the Godolphin Stud and stable staff awards. A tremendous achievement in its self and a testimony to our whole team.. Vova Stepanyuk is in the final three for the dedication award and then "Ella Garland" in the newcomer award section.
