8th January - Stable News WINNER !!

A busy day at Lingfield with the 5 runners at the All Weather Jumper Bumper meeting. First we had Rupert , who was the most disappointing runner of the day. I think the tings to take out of the race are he travelled fine for the first part and then once they quick-end he stopped very quickly. Races like these can through up funny results and can highlight potential problems. First of all James said he definitely wants further. Also because he stopped quite quickly we are going to investigate his wind. He is a very different horse at home and i am sure we will get to the bottom of him soon.

Then we had Rose Of Aghaboe in the 12.20 who was given a brilliant ride to win under Tabitha Worsley. Rose of Aghaboe is such a special mare, she has won 3 times this season of her last four races for "The Rose Tinted Partnership" . She has the heart of a lion and was not going to get beat today. She really stuck her neck out.

In the fillies bumper at 12.50 we had two runners "Legendary Grace" ridden bu Tabs again that very nearly won, just got beat on the line by a horse that came from the clouds. Grace showed an excellent attitude and is a very promising filly. Then we had Kadiyama who we were thrilled with also , she showed great improvement from her debut when she ran very green and finished in 5th place. She is going to be a great fun horse on the better ground.

Last of all we had Northern Poet who ran in the 3.50 2 mile bumper. The race ended up being a bit of a nonsense, as they did not really go any gallop and then it turned in to a sprint with them all finishing in a bunch. He did however have a good leg stretch and finished 5th .

These days are great for the good ground horses, getting a run in to them keeping them fit when everywhere starts to freeze up .
