8th October- Stable News

On Friday, we had some special visitors with owners Alan and Trish bringing Hannah to meet the horses. Hannah has only recently started riding with the RDA and it was so lovely to show her all the racehorses and watch them on the gallops. She was visiting for the weekend from Norfolk .

This morning we had the pleasure of hosting he "Ledwardian Legacy" syndicate coming down to see "Ledders" their 4 year old Jetaway gelding. The sun was shining and it was a stunning morning on the gallops. Ledders had a canter upsides with :"Rum Cove" a Black Sam Bellamy 4 year old. All then back to the yard for a glass of Fizz and some homemade Lemon Drizzle cake.

We then had one runner ( was initially going to be two) at Chepstow. "Didtheyleaveuoutto" who is owned by J.P.McManus ran in the 4:02 Chepstow 8 OCT 2022 2m3½f (2m3f100y) Wasdell Group Silver Trophy Handicap Hurdle (GBB Race) (Class 2) (4yo+) with Niall Houlihan on board. He ran an absolute blinder , the ground was a bit dead/hardwork, but really chuffed with his run to finish in 4th place. Kirsty Huff our head girl was leading him up and rides and looks after him at home. His number one fan Debbie was also there to cheer him on !!

It been a funny old week with Huntingdon been abandoned which meant Cobbs Corner and Fairway Freddy did not get to run. The Mighty Don just got run off his feet abit yesterday . Sallyanne ran week to finish 6th at Warwick too.
