James Davies gave "Luca" as we call him at home brilliant ride, a brilliant display of jumping and he clearly loves Doncaster and appreciated the better ground. Huge Congratulations to Mike and Angela O'Shea and Team Gifford. Emily Wright led Luca up at Doncaster today and Kirsty was in charge at the races. Luca is a super ride and quite a few of the lads ride him, but Ella Garland has ridden him a lot at home and more recently Emily and Claire,. Sometimes with these horses just need more time to strengthen and develop and patience is key. Lots to look forward to My Bad Lucy.
Also on this day in 2012 we lost my father Josh Gifford and also the same day but in 1993 Ruth lost her father " Terry Brennan" , so we will be toasting these special people this evening. I am sure they will be enjoying a G & T up there too. Thank you Luca for giving us a winner on this special day !
