Happy Monday everyone. Well thankfully the weather is a lot better today than over the weekend. Yesterday was crazy weather here in Findon with high winds and thunder storms. Today we have two runners at two different meetings.
Firstly Rose of Aghaboe has gone up to Leicester to run in the 1:30 Leicester 16 NOV 2020RTV 2m6½f (2m6f151y) John O'Gaunt Mares' Novices' Handicap Chase (Class 5) (4yo+ 0-105). "Rosie " belongs to "The Rose Tinted Partnership" . Tabitha Worsley takes the ride who won on her at Plumpton last time out. She is on great form at home and this is her chasing debut. She has schooled very well at home. As always , though the most important thing we are looking for is a clear round of jumping and a great experience for her. Andrew Veale our Travelling Head Lad and Casey Watson have taken her and will be leading her up. 12 runners go to post. Good Luck Rosie and connections. The Chase course at Leicester is Good , good to firm in places ( quite amazing really) .
Our second runner is Jungle Prose for The Nick Gifford Racing Club. JP ran very well last time out to finish second at Plumpton. JP runs in the 2:50 Plumpton 16 NOV 2020SKY 2m4½f (2m4f114y) Happy 50th J.H - You Made It! Handicap Hurdle (Class 4) (3yo+ 0-110). Nine go to post as three have already been declared none runners due to the heavy ground. James Davies takes the ride. The question mark today will be the ground, with all the rain we have had it is now heavy and soft in places. We do however feel that it is worth taking our chance because she is a lot tougher and stronger than last year and she coped well with the soft. If she hates it then we know for sure and James will look after her. We will see. Vova will be leading her up today.
It is looking like a busy week for our yard with two horses having their debuts in bumpers on Wednesday at Ffos Las and Warwick also.
