Stable News !- 9th November

Stable News- update Last week ended up being a crazy week for many reasons, so I realise we have missed a few updates. Belargus ran at Newbury on Thursday 5th November and was ridden by Will Kennedy and led up by Izzy Mills. Unfortunately it ended up being a very disappointing run on the back of his very promising second at Huntingdon last time out. He was never really happy jumping and think he frightened himself when he banked the third fence and then fell three out . He is I am pleased to say A okay. So I am afraid it's one of those " Put a line through it" head scratcher runs. We know he is better much better than that .

"Itsnotwhatyouthink" ran in the bumper on Friday at Fontwell and ran an absolute blinder to finish second. He was a bit green in running but really put in a genuine pleasing performance. Boris as he is known at home caused a bit of a commotion in the paddock but all connections were thrilled with how he buckled down and got to business in the race. A lot to look forward to with this horse. James Davies gave him a great ride and really liked him.

Coral Lad ran at Sandown yesterday in the Bumper ridden by James Davies. He has had one previous run in which he was very green but ran on to finish 5th. Yesterday the race was just not run at all to suit him. They hack cantered for the first mile and a half and then it turned in to a sprint and he was caught flat footed. The winner looking like a machine. It was however still positive that he galloped on up the hill. So we wont be messing around in any more bumpers with him, he has gained some valuable experience and we will now look to go hurdling. You will see the best of him when he gets further and fences. He is a big strong chaser type. James really liked him and said a stronger gallop would have suited him much better...but heh Thats racing !! This week we have a couple of entries with Mystic Dreamer entered on Thursday at Taunton and Castledhem entered at Southwell on Friday. We will keep a close eye on the ground etc before we make a decision. In other exciting news Paddy's Poem is back in Findon , we welcomed him back on Tuesday and everyone is thrilled. I will also be updating in the next two days on some exciting syndicate opportunities that are available.
