Great to start the NEW season off with a WINNER !!! in the 7:10 at Fontwell 8 MAY 2024 3m2f (3m1f210y) Star Sports Handicap Chase (Class 5) (5yo+ 0-100) and what a fabulous winner to have. James Davies gave River a very patient ride and she really seemed to appreciate jumping out of he better ground.

River Tyne who bless her has been the bridesmaid 9 times ! now is the Bride. Huge Congratulations to our loyal owners Tony & Holly Allan and well done to the whole of Team Gifford !! River Tyne was led up by George Sturgis who has been riding her at home along with Ella Garland and Head Girl Kirsty Huff was in charge at Fontwell.

Drishogue also ran in the 5.40 5:40Fontwell 8 MAY 2024 2m5½f (2m5f164y) Download The Star Sports App Maiden Hurdle (GBB Race) (Class 4) (4yo+), she ran very keen and unfortunately fell, just taking her eye of the hurdle and ran in to the bottom of it and fell. She is absolutely fine and just needs to learn to settle still. She has an engine and just is still learning the game. We will look to run her again shortly.
